About Ferol

Ferol Carytsas is a lecturer and the Undergraduate Curriculum Coordinator and Advisor with the UF Center for Arts in Medicine. An award-winning instructor, Ferol’s interest in curriculum design and pedagogy led her to co-develop the Undergraduate Certificate in Music in Medicine at UF and establish the UF Health Music Ensemble. She is co-chair of the National Organization for Arts in Health Professionalization Committee and has assisted with the development of the nationally endorsed Code of Ethics and Standards for Arts in Health Professionals. Ferol is also a co-editor to the upcoming Core Curriculum for Arts in Health Professionals.
